Trigger rules

Every CockpitMod module that processes reservation events can be configured with trigger rules — conditions that determine when the module takes action. For example, the Upsell Engine can be configured to send a pre-arrival email only to guests with stays of 2 or more nights, or only when a specific room category upgrade is available. Trigger rules are found in each module's settings under Rules and Filters.

Notification preferences

Configure email notifications for each module to alert specific team members when key events occur: when a review is received and requires response, when an upsell is accepted, when an API connection error is detected, or when a corporate rate is applied outside the contracted parameters. Notifications are configured per module under Settings → Notifications.

Multi-property configuration

If your Dirs21 account covers multiple properties, navigate to Settings → Properties to configure module settings independently per property. Some modules support property-level overrides — for example, the Upsell Engine can have different offer templates for each property, while the Corporate Rate Manager can have different rate contracts assigned to different properties.

Usage reports

Navigate to Reports in your dashboard to access monthly usage summaries for each active module. Reports are generated automatically on the first working day of each month. Click the download button to save a CSV or PDF version. To have reports delivered automatically by email, configure the report delivery settings under Settings → Reports → Auto-delivery.

API configuration management

If you rotate your Dirs21 API key, update it in your CockpitMod account under Settings → API Configuration → Update Key. The new key is validated immediately on save. If validation fails, the old key remains active until a valid new key is provided, preventing service interruption. A notification is sent to your account email confirming the key update.
